“I make people think.”
Queue pause.
Some people nod,
as if I said teacher, nurse, or mother.
Then they talk in detail what they do.
They aren’t my tribe.
They didn’t hear me.
Thinking requires listening.
Some people‘s eyes flicker.
Then they go on a tangent.
They’re not ready to open a Pandora’s Box
by asking me to explain.
They’re not my tribe either.
We don’t need to connect to everyone …
Just people with whom we can have
genuine conversations and relationships.
I’ve built my career in strategic thinking,
positioning, marketing,
advertising and creative writing.
I could do branding work.
But I don’t want to.
I want to help people on a deeper level.

Intentional use of words.
I write, speak and facilitate workshops
that help talented and ambitious women
show up with confidence and presence.

the ones they hide.
That requires thinking.
It requires being open.
